WHY E-CIGARETTES CAN’T HELP YOU QUIT SMOKING
The latest trend for people trying to quit smoking is the electronic cigarette or e-cigarette. Seemingly overnight, this industry emerged as a supposedly viable solution to quitting smoking, and for good reason: the e-cigarette isn’t actually a cigarette, it just satisfies your nicotine บุหรี่ไฟฟ้า cravings. So is it really a good idea?
The cases of the electronic cigarette
The electronic cigarette falls under the same category as nicotine patches and gum: nicotine replacement therapy. In the same vein, it has exactly the same problems as the other nicotine replacement methods: it’s just a band-aid on your craving to quit.
When trying to quit smoking, I tried virtually every trick in the book. None of them worked, and for good reason: as soon as I went out, I immediately started smoking again. I’ve never sat around and said, ‘Wow, I could really go for one of those nicotine patches right now!’
The solution to this, of course, is to have on hand an adequate supply of the replacements you use. But what happens when you’re at a bar or out with friends? Everyone smokes outside, you won’t be the person to turn on your e-cigarette and take a few puffs to get ahead of the other smokers. It just doesn’t make sense.
There’s really only one real way to quit smoking: willpower. A lot of people say that going cold turkey is the hardest way to quit smoking, and with good reason: you’re going the wrong way. If you know what you’re doing and stomp down your craving for cigarettes before you start, you can quit and never look back!

The truth is that if we want to make it easier for us to quit smoking completely, there are certain things we mustn’t do. It is very important that we take note of these things. Once we get them out of the way, our minds will be clear as to what isn’t working.
Do not use medication
It is very surprising that some people have come up with the idea that a form of meditation like hypnosis can help us quit smoking. This idea is very wrong. Meditation will not help us to stop. A fair number of people have claimed that it has worked for them, but it’s still not the best option.
If we look at the percentage of smokers who have managed to successfully use meditation techniques, we will see that it is not worth it. Research shows that only about 10% of people who use meditation (particularly hypnosis) end up stopping. Whereas we have techniques where about 96% of those who use it quit smoking and never go back to it.
Forget the idea of e-cigarettes

Nicotine replacement therapy will not work
Most of us are discouraged with the results we get from using nicotine replacement products. Many have conceived this therapy as a way to easily quit smoking cigarettes. But it is not. We need to realize that we are not addicted to smoking because we crave nicotine. We crave cigarettes, not nicotine. This is simply why this therapy is associated with a poor success rate.
