Review of the 8GB 3600MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX
We are all aware that Corsair is a company that stands out when it comes to PC cooling products, specifically their Hydro series CPU liquid coolers. The same can be said for their memory kit lineups, which include standouts like the pricey Dominator and the infamous Vengeance LPX.
Following the same pattern, Corsair chose to combine the two markets and release a kit called the Corsair Vengeance Airflow, which is currently available for review thanks to Corsair India.
Corsair’s Vengeance LPX Airflow is essentially a combination of the Vengeance LPX memory kit and the Vengeance Airflow memory cooler. We have the Vengeance LPX 8GB 3600Mhz kit, rated at 18-19-19-39 at 1.35v, as well as the generic Airflow cooler, which comes with a two-year warranty. Although the price of this bundle has not yet been announced, we’ll let you know as soon as we do. It is anticipated that it will be less expensive than purchasing the two modules separately.
Our Conclusion
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 3600Mhz Memory Kit is one of the most versatile kits available, as evidenced by our benchmarks, which show unrivalled compatibility with the X299 platform. The kit looks fantastic and would appeal to those who prefer elegance over bling, making it an excellent choice for system builders. Overclocking wise, the kit is just perfect, and achieving 3800Mhz at just 1.4v, a 5.5% increase over its default frequency, is nothing short of amazing. Since we are already in the upper 3000Mhz range, this high frequency won’t matter much in gaming, but it can make a world of difference in graphic editing or rendering.
The Vengeance Airflow cooler included with the memory kit is an added bonus that not only improves the overall appearance of the system but also keeps these high-end memories cool even under the most intense loads. This cooler is one of the primary reasons why this kit performed so well in the benchmarks.
“With subtle looks and performance to woo even the most hardcore enthusiasts, the Corsair Vengeance LPX is highly recommended for PC modders, graphic designers, and even gamers who don’t mind shelling out extra for that extra performance.”
