Disadvantages of Wet Tissue Paper
Wet Tissue Paper is an eco-friendly, refillable packaging that can be easily removed with one hand. Its manufacturing cost is very low and it is a very convenient packaging option. However, there are a few disadvantages of wet tissue paper. Let’s look at these issues and see if wet tissue is really the better choice for you. Also, consider the convenience factor. While most people find wet tissue convenient, they might be cost-prohibitive for some.
Problems with wet tissue paper
The wet strength and softness of tissue papers are two of the most important qualities in tissue paper. These properties are often determined by the coating polymer concentration and grammage of the paper. A higher wet strength means a softer paper, so consumers should look for these traits in tissue papers. In addition, wet strength refers to the paper’s resistance to breakage after wetting. Problems with wet paper can be solved with wet-strength agents.
Environmentally friendly
Tissue paper is a single-use item that often comes into contact with fluids. Thankfully, there are several environmentally-friendly options available today. Some tissue paper is even compostable, so you can feel good about reusing it over again. Other environmentally-friendly alternatives include hemp-based tissues and recyclable paper. Even if you use paper tissue only once, it can be recycled or composted at the end of its life cycle.
The most environmentally friendly wet tissue paper is a washable, biodegradable version. Instead of clogging city sewers, it’s also great for your toilet. Qleanse wipes are a great alternative to standard toilet paper, and can be used indoors or outdoors. Qleanse contains skin-softening Aloe and witch hazel, moisture and cleansing foam. This innovative product has been dermatologist tested and is an environmentally-friendly option. The formula is applied easily to standard toilet paper, and is non-clogging, which means less clogging of sewer pipes.
Convenient
Wet tissue paper is a handy item that makes wiping up messes and preventing germs easy. It is an air-laid paper that has been moistened with water or other liquids, and is usually scented with a perfume or softener. These wipes are then folded into pocket-size packages. The main ingredients of wet tissue are water, additive, and softener. Some brands may have additional fragrance, softeners, or lotion.
Cost
To estimate the unit cost of wet tissues, start by calculating the square footage of the product. Toilet paper packages typically list the square footage of individual sheets. This information is sometimes missing from product specifications, so we will have to rely on other methods. The next best method is to count the number of sheets per roll. Because individual sheets can vary by about 5 percent between different brands, the price per square foot is a close approximation. However, it does not take into account differences in ply types.
Refillable
The present invention relates to a container containing refillable wet tissue paper. A cross-sectional view of the wet tissue is shown in FIG. 1. Another sectional view of the wet tissue is shown in FIG. 2. FIG. 4 shows an explanatory view of the tissue in its container. The half-cut notch can be circular, elliptical, or similar in shape. This feature facilitates removing the wet tissue without any hassle.
The design of the refill packaging wet tissue paper comprises a notch at the top opening for inserting the refillable wet tissue paper. The paper is stored inside the container body 30 after the seal member is removed and the half-cut is opened. The container is then closed with a lid 10 that has a notch on its side. The closure is secured using a pressure-sensitive adhesive. This makes the product highly convenient and easy to dispense the wet tissue paper.
