England is the second favourite to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar
The Three Lions were drawn favourably in their group for the 2022 World Cup, making England the second favourite in Qatar.
The oddsmakers now have England as the 11/2 second favourite to win the World Cup in Qatar this year, and Gareth Southgate’s team has been drawn into what seems to be a favourable group.
The Three Lions were placed in Group B with Iran, Wales, and the United States and will be confident that they can advance further than they did during their European Championship campaign last summer, when they were defeated by Italy in the final.
Brazil is the 9/2 favourite to win and return the trophy to South America, while the current champion France is third favourite at 6/1.

Odds for England to win the World Cup
As the first World Cup to be held in the winter, England is the 11/2 second favourite to win the event in Qatar in 2022. To know more about England Football World Cup Tickets click here.
There is no denying that England has one of the strongest teams in international football, and they have excelled under Southgate at big competitions, particularly when they reached the Euro 2020 final last summer only to lose to Italy in a penalty shootout.
With the United States, Iran, and Wales as their opponents in Group B, England shouldn’t have any concerns. The Netherlands are the strongest team they may play in the round of 16, and if England wins their group as predicted, there is a fair chance they will play either Argentina or France in the quarterfinals.
The oddsmakers predict that England will face Brazil in the championship game because they were unable to play each other earlier due to the draw.
Competition high in Qatar
Brazil is the 9/2 favourite to win the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Tite’s team has performed admirably in qualifying despite losing to Argentina in the Copa America final the previous year. They were placed in Group G together with Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon and are predicted to advance very easily.
After Italy in 1938 and Brazil in 1962, holders France, who are currently offered at 6/1, will attempt to become just the third nation in history to successfully defend the World Cup. Australia, Denmark, and Tunisia make up Group D with Les Bleues.
South American champions Argentina are 7/1, and they will feel confident about their prospects of defeating anyone if Lionel Messi is on form. Mexico and Poland, their opponents in Group C, should be a tough test, but one they appear more than capable of passing.
Spain, the 2010 world champions, are 8/1 and have done well in both qualification and the Nations League. As the national team’s manager, Luis Enrique never ceases to wow, and his team is loaded with excellent young players like Pedri and Gavi, who will be crucial for La Roja in Qatar.
However, Spain and Germany (10/1) were placed in the same group, and the match between the two will reveal a lot about how each team will do at this year’s World Cup.
