Sandeep Marwah Reached London on Queen’s Jubilee Celebration Day
London: “What a pleasure to be here in London on the most auspicious day which happens to be the Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II and also the jubilee celebration of Queen of completing seventy years of her regime. I am lucky to be here in London to see the most fascinating celebrations,” said Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of Wales in India while talking to the press at hotel The Langham Regent Street in London.
Elizabeth II, the queen of England, is the longest-lived and longest reigning British monarc, the oldest and longest serving incumbent head of state, and second longest reigning sovereign monarc in the World. Elizabeth was born in Mayfair London on 21st April 1926, as the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York. Her father acceded to the throne in 1936 upon the abdication of his brother, King Edward viii making Elizabeth the heir presumptive.
We have a lot to do with United Kingdom as we are associated with large number of Universities & educational institutions, cultural and social organizations. I am also the Chair of Indo United Kingdom Film and Cultural Forum and it is my honour that I have been nominated as the Ambassador of Wales in India by H.E. Ian Wayen Jones than the Deputy First Minister of Wales, the Government of Wales.
