‘Fruitvalle Station’: Educational movies about police brutality

Produced by Forest Whitaker and Nina Yang Bongiovi, Fruitvale Station follows the events leading to the death of a young black man, Oscar Grant, at the hands of the police in 2009. Premiering in 2013 at the Sundance Film Festival, Fruitvale Station won both the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award for a U.S drama.
