UPSC IAS Exam Vacancy 2022
Every year, the UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) is held to recruit candidates for various Indian central government, civil services such as IAS, IPS, IFS (Foreign), IRS, IP & TAFS, IFoS (Forest), ITS, and others. It is one of the most difficult tests in the country.
The UPSC CSE, also known as the IAS test, is held after the issuance of the UPSC vacancy memo.
I tell you, the UPSC exam is nothing short of a marathon. In order to be selected as an IAS officer, you must pass all three rounds. The Prelims are the first round, the Mains are the second, and the personal interviews are the third.
UPSC Vacancy 2022
Latest Update: The number highlighting the total vacancies was changed by UPSC, and 150 positions in the IRMS category were added. CSE 2022 will now be held for a total of 1011 open positions.
The UPSC CSE 2022 edition was released on February 2nd. This year, a total of 861 vacancies will be filled, according to the announcement.
The success rate in the IAS exams is approximately 0.2 percent, owing to the large number of students that apply each year to compete in the UPSC exams, which approaches almost a million. That is a demanding figure, but don’t be concerned.
This is because many persons who apply for the UPSC CSE recruiting procedure do not actually show up for the exam. Let me give you an illustration. Only about half of the million-plus candidates who applied for the recruiting process in 2018 actually showed up to sit the preliminary exams.
A UPSC vacancy strength of 861 was announced in the notification that was released by the UPSC for the Civil Services Exam of 2022. The announcement was made after UPSC Notification 2022 was released on the 2nd of February 2022.
In due course, another notification was released by UPSC, in which the recruiting agency announced subsequent 150 vacancies under the head of IRMS. This update took the total toll of vacancies to 1011.
