DOT GREENLIGHTS PARTIAL OPERATIONS OF HOTEL RESTAURANTS ON JUNE 15

Manila, Philippines — The Department of Tourism (DOT) welcomes the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases’ (IATF-EID) approval of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) recommendation to allow the partial dine-in operations of restaurants in localities under General Community Quarantine (GCQ). Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat reminds restaurants inside hotels and other accommodation establishments that they may operate on June 15 (Monday) provided they strictly observe the thirty percent (30%) seating capacity limit for dine-in customers,
