How to Choose a Great Hairstylist
The most stressful part of moving could be the task of packing your entire life in boxes or trying to pack your cat in an animal carrier for transport across all over the nation (or perhaps across town) This is why I’m here provide you with a second option trying to find the perfect person to cut your hair and especially when you’re particular about who you want to choose. I know this because I’ve moved twice over the last six months and it’s been difficult for me to maintain my hair looking great as I tried to make new acquaintances in the process and find jobs. Since for me personally when I don’t feel great about my hair, then I do not feel great about my living my life.
I’d had my hair stylist from South London for about five (or six) years. Villy J in the salon of Villy J’s Hair & Beauty We’d not only formed a bond but also an entire creative collaboration when it came to my hairstyle. shee had taken my hair from a straight auburn bob to long burgundy locks with bangs, and then finally an edgy strawberry blonde lob I adored. But the fact that I had left South London and Villy J did not mean I needed to shed my adorable hair.
Here’s what I learned during my experience working with many new stylists. And what’s more important is that you don’t even have to move into a new area to test these tricks or even an unfamiliar stylist.
Find all the information you need on your current style
If you’re happy with the look and you’ve established a positive connection with your hairdresser, follow what I did , and then have them record how they did it. Justin created an custom shade for me, and generously provided the formula for the shade and gloss he applied. If your stylist is doing something special, ask them to describe it to you via text message or an e-mail. I keep mys on my phone, so it’s handy whenever I go to an alternative salon.
Bring your photos
It’s obvious, but it is a must to be said. If you haven’t been to a salon for a haircut or style or color in a while, take photographs on your smartphone of the most recent time you had your hair perfect. Highlight what you enjoyed about the appearance to the stylist you’re working with. Otherwise they’ll just look at the hairstyle you’ve got when you’re at the table.
Trust your gut
Finding an ideal stylist isn’t all about their skills it’s about how two of you interact. If you’re not comfortable making yourself heard or feel the stylist isn’t listening to your suggestions, you’re probably not happy with the end result. When you call to set up an appointment, let them know that it’s your first visit and that you’d like to chat with the stylist before -and arrive early. If you’re feeling like they’re not listening to you or they’re pushing you to have your hair cleaned without being able to feel your hair’s texture before you’re free to call and walk out. Be sure to inform them about this prior to going to the salon, because some might try at charging you for their time.
