Year Long Dance Festival Designed by Asian Academy of Arts
Noida: Asian Academy of Arts is the organization of 20, 000 members belonging to films, Television, Media, Art and Culture fraternity from all over the World. Large number of events are being organized to promote art and culture in association with international organizations to develop and promote relations between the people of the different countries.
“Art influences society by changing opinions, instilling values and translating experiences across space and time. Research has shown art affects the fundamental sense of self. Painting, sculpture, music, literature and the other arts are often considered to be the repository of a society’s collective memory,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Arts.
“Indian Classical dance is the yoga to human feelings. There is a general decline of taste for classical dance, which is neglected and this must be developed from the grassroots. There is so much of razzle-dazzle that classical dance suffers. That is the reason we want to have a yearlong dance festival by artists from all over India to develop, promote, preserve and highlight Indian dance history, traditions and culture,” added Dr. Sandeep Marwah introducing the new wing of Marwah Studios.
Anu Sinha renowned Kathak Exponent has been nominated as the Festival Director for this year long Indian Classical Dance Festival. The event is supported by International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, AAFT School of Performing Arts and International Film and Television Club.
