AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism Celebrated National Tourism Day
New Delhi: National Tourism Day is celebrated across the country on January 25 every year to appreciate India’s beauty and spread awareness about the importance of tourism and its impact on the economy. The ministry of tourism is observing National Tourism Day under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a 75-week grand celebration to mark 75 years of India’s independence. This year’s theme for National Tourism Day is ‘Rural and Community Centric Tourism’ informed faculty at AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism.
“The tourism industry has badly effected due to corona virus and it will take another two years for things to come back to Normal. We will not lose the heart, the things will recover in a much higher speed and then there will be a boom in the industry,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism while addressing people from the industry celebrating the National Tourism Day.
“Thirty years back I gave one word-Film Tourism- to English dictionary, nobody could understand that, today every country is talking about Film Tourism. To support our own decision we are able to attract Thirty lac people to Noida Film city through different events , festivals and film education & training,” added Dr. Marwah giving emphasis to Film Tourism.
