A Honda C HR Review
The Toyota C HR has been designed to be an ultra stylish crossover between an SUV and a coupe, but it’s more of an upscale four-door sports hatchback with all the look of an exotic sports car
What is the Toyota C HR review? Short for Coupe High Rider, the Toyota C HR has been designed to be an ultra stylish crossover between an SUV and a coupe, but it’s more of an upscale four-door sports hatchback with all the look of an exotic sports car.
Toyota has really upped the ante on luxury vehicles with this one. It will have some of the same features as its larger family-sized siblings, including leather seats, signature dual stitching on the door pan and upholstered instrument panel, signature side steps, a host of luxury options, and a long list of safety features.
Honda C HR Review: What’s Good About The Model?
What’s so great about this new model? One of the biggest pluses is the C-ords trademark safety features. Toyota has put together a stellar list of standard safety features including front and side airbags, front and rear seat side curtain airbags, side airbags, magnetic storm doors, a five-way foot breakaway system, and front and rear seat side curtain airbags. Toyota also offers standard tire and rim protection as well as traction control. Toyota C-HR comes standard with an eight-year warranty and will go up in price when available on dealers’ lots.
What are the unique standards set by the C HR? One of the big pluses for this vehicle is the presence of Apple CarPlay. If you’re not familiar with this feature, it’s the capability of your phone (including iPhone 6s and 7) to remotely operate your vehicle’s audio system. You can program your music playlists, your destination, and even switch between the head unit and your touch screen.

Toyota also included a number of standard features in this model, including a large multi-link digital voice display that will help you view all of your driving information in a clear and easy to read format. You’ll enjoy access to real time traffic and weather reports as well as the ability to make hands free calls, control your music volume, and even adjust your blind spot.
Honda C HR Review: Standard Features
But what about standard features that this vehicle offers? Well, you can expect to see a lot of them in this color combo. Toyota claims this version of their flagship C-MAX subcompact will offer eight hours of driving time on a single charge, which is great. Standard on the 2021 toyota c-hr review is a 1.4-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that will power all of the C HR’s standard features.
Standard on this vehicle is Toyota’s xLE (limited trim gets), which offers five hundred dollars more money than the base C HR. Limited trim levels include daytime running lights, rear bumper protection, a dual-zone climate control, and front seat passenger airbag.
All of these standard features are present on the base version of the Toyota C-HR, and you’ll notice they aren’t available on this trim level.
Honda C HR Review: Extra Features
For those wanting more from their Honda C HR, Toyota has put together a package that includes a few extra features. Base SUVs get a new high-gloss interior featuring contoured bench seating, front side airbags, front and rear seat side curtain airbags, front and rear seat side cargo netting, and an automatic sunroof.
All Limited trim levels also receive the aforementioned high-gloss bench seating, front side airbags, front and rear seat side curtain airbags, and a new climate control with front and rear seat side airbags. Honda did go above and beyond with their XLE trim levels, however, because this model offers fifteen percent more passenger room than the C HR, and offers Honda’s Drive Select auto warranty.
Honda C HR Review: Verdict
All told, it is an exciting time for Honda customers looking to expand their family vehicle through a larger passenger volume. While the Honda HR-V is bigger than many competing brands, it still offers great fuel economy, a sleek look, and plenty of passenger room.

The base C HR offers all the same standard features as the C-WR, such as power door mirrors with auto upshifts, front seat side airbags, and front and rear seat antibacterial windshield wipers. For buyers who would like to upgrade to all-wheel drive, there are a couple of trim levels from which to choose.
Unfortunately, all-wheel drive vehicles have a reputation for being less safe than base C-ords. In this case, it seems that any potential safety risks are transferred to the all-wheel drive system. However, Honda has taken steps to remedy this issue by introducing a new front end crash test in which drivers are exposed to head on collision.
No changes have been made to the C-rr, which remains to be one of the most stable and safest Crows in the class. If you’re planning on buying a C-CR or C-HR next year, now’s a great time to buy.
