Things You Should Never Do When Going To Church

Here are things you should avoid doing at the church.
Arriving late
You might be your boss at home and work, but your rules cannot prevail over the god’s abode. Reaching the church late is a lack of respect and your concern for sincerity towards god. Nobody would nag you when bossing around, but it is not acceptable in Orthodox Christian. If you have valid reasons for arriving late, you can enter the church but from the back door. Make sure you don’t make distractions when entering like a mouse.
Wearing obscene clothes
God sees no color or gender when He accepts you as his child, but it doesn’t mean you can stomp down the aisle with lousy behavior or inappropriate clothing. Avoid wearing short shorts, see-through shirts, tight leather pants, outfits, and any other skimpy clothes that can be an eyesore to fellow churchgoers. Try to understand moral values in humans and allow others to perform their duty by following thumb rules.
Talking during sermon
People come to church to pray and relieve from worries when they can’t find serenity in their daily life. If you disturb their minds while focusing on prayer, you will become a curse that destroys people’s lives. You might meet someone you want to meet after a long time, but talking to the person during the sermon is bad behavior. Prayer sessions won’t take the whole day, and you must have the patience to wait until it is over. Only after leaving the pew can you talk to the person.
Annoying kids
Young kids are innocent beings, and everyone loves little ones, but bringing rowdy kids to the church is a big no for all. If you have kids in the family, they are likely to follow adult members when shopping. Such a habit might not harm anybody unless they start to get rowdy or cry in the church. Who knows if someone has a financial problem, while another could be dealing with a toxic relationship. The disturbing atmosphere created by pesky kids can traumatize them instead of increasing their faith in god. A better solution to this issue is not to bring any child to the church.
