Yet another basic theory of A Program in Wonders could be the idea that the bodily world is definitely an illusion. It posits our sensory activities are unreliable indications of reality and that correct understanding can only just be performed via a change in consciousness. The Class distinguishes between the “real life,” which is really a state of peace and oneness beyond the material sphere, and the “pride world,” known by anxiety, separation, and conflict. Based on ACIM, our main purpose is to awaken from the desire of the ego earth and come back to the attention of our heavenly nature.
ACIM also presents the idea of the Holy Spirit as a guide and instructor within the individual. That religious existence is seen as the origin of creativity and knowledge, helping people make choices that cause people a course in miracles nearer to reality and far from illusion. The Program shows that through our willingness to hear the Holy Spirit’s guidance, we could access a further understanding of our function and the road to healing.
The Workbook for Pupils in A Course in Wonders includes 365 classes, one for every day of the year. These lessons are made to support students internalize the teachings and use them for their daily lives. They often contain meditative and contemplative workouts, affirmations, and reflections on the concepts presented in the text. The goal of these daily lessons is always to change the student’s notion and mind-set slowly, leading them towards circumstances of correct forgiveness, inner peace, and religious awakening.
The Information for Teachers, the 3rd part of ACIM, is targeted at those individuals who have embraced the concepts of the Program and experience required to talk about them with others. It provides advice on the features of a true teacher of Lord, focusing characteristics such as persistence, confidence, and an open heart. It acknowledges the challenges and obstacles one may experience while teaching the Course and presents ideas on the best way to steer them.
