Gemstone Beaded Bracelets
Gemstone beaded bracelets are easy to make and can add a pop of color to your look. You can keep them understated and minimal, or you can make them more dramatic if you use larger gemstone beads and bigger cord. They are also great projects to do while binge watching a TV show or movie. All you need is a few different colors and sizes of gemstones, coordinating beads and cord to create your bracelet.
Whether you are looking for spiritual protection, inner peace or to boost your confidence and self-awareness, these bracelets will be just what you need. Use crystals that resonate with your chakra to create a bracelet that will be uniquely yours. Red jasper is an excellent stone to wear for strength and power, while Amethyst will help you connect with higher spiritual realms. Lapis lazuli enhances feelings of self-awareness and truth, so you can stay true to who you are at all times.
To start, cut a piece of elastic beading cord that is the size of your wrist plus 1 in (2.5 cm). Thread beads until you have a bracelet that fits well. Then add a crimp bead and your clasp. Use a crimp bead cover to ensure the crimp is tight and doesn’t come loose over time.
Repeat the process to add more bead sections to your bracelet. If you want to add a charm, use a decorative bead with a large hole to pull the wire through and twist around it. You can also glue the knot to the bead if you prefer, but I don’t recommend using superglue because it is brittle when cured and can abrasive the elastic cord over time.
