How to Clean Your Casio Watch
Whether you have a Seiko or a Casio watch, this blog will walk you through the process of cleaning them step-by-step, making them easy to follow and yielding the best results.
Step 1: Inspection
Look out for any damage that might allow moisture to get inside. Likewise, look at the base of the crystal. If the crystal on your watch is soiled or separated from the casing, it needs to be properly inspected by a watch mechanic and cleaned.
Step 2: Remove the bracelet or strap
Take it out and store it.
Step 3: Tidy Up Your Watch
Apply sachet wipes, easily obtained from mobile accessory shops, and gently clean all of the indentations, edges, and crevices, being especially careful around the crown. After a brief inspection, the watch will be largely clean, allowing you to see the toughest stains and dirt buildups.
Step 4: Use a wooden pick or brush
If the grime is sticky and won’t come off with a wipe, take a matchstick and cut off the hard, brittle tip. Next, wrap the toothpick around the edge of the wipe gently (be careful not to be too harsh) and work it into the trouble spots. Use a toothbrush, especially a soft and fragile one, to gently brush away any debris that has accumulated over time if the cleaning has disturbed it. Should you be uncertain about whether to scratch, consider getting a professional opinion.
Step 5: Touch the microfiber
To finish your cleaning, use a soft, new microfiber cloth so that it can quickly absorb any remaining moisture, such as sweat from your hands. You can use your finger to wrap the cloth around your finger and use your nail to clean the inner lugs, case back, edges of the crystal dome, and bezel.
Recall to remove your spring bars and pins, and be especially careful with the end links as this is where perspiration gathers and erodes the polish. Visit ecasiocentre.pk.
You now have a clean, well-maintained watch on your wrist. After thoroughly cleaning your watch, we suggest giving it a once-weekly once-over with a cleaning wipe to preserve it. This is very important, especially in light of our recent emphasis on handwashing, which builds up soap and water beneath the watch and creates additional dirt. Remove your watch before washing your hands, then replace it once your hands have dried. Everything has been cleaned up. Your watch now looks better, so wear it with pride and reapply the bracelet or strap.
