For example, a broken bone naturally mends over time, but if it is healed instantly, then it is considered a miracle.

Finally, a miracle can surpass created powers by its origin. For example, a miracle can be directly attributed to the intervention of God. This is often seen in the Bible with biblical miracles such as the parting of the Red Sea or the healing of leprosy. The Course defines a miracle in the same way as Christian traditions, but it is not a religion. What is the goal of the Course?

In the end, we find that there is no separation from God – there is only one Love, and everything is a gift from that Love. The world of truth is a world of unity, forgiveness and abundance. Evil, sin and suffering are misperceptions that can be corrected if we choose to see them differently.

A Course in Miracles is a non-denominational spiritual teaching that draws on wisdom from all world religions. While it uses Christian terms, it is not a form of Christianity and is ecumenical in nature. It does not try to establish a new religion, and it clearly states that there is no hell, only the searing experience of pain that occurs when we make the wrong choice.
