How To Do Yahoo Server Settings For Android?

Yahoo server setting procedure for android.

1) Click on your email application on your android device then choose the option that says add a new account and then click on ‘other’

2) Enter your account details in the screen that appears and then click on the login

3) Now click on the type option and fill these  details in the server incoming mail option:

  • ->IMAP server should be imap.mail.yahoo.com

4) Choose security type as SSL
 
5) The suitable port number will be 993

6) Not to setup  Yahoo SMTP server looks for the option “outgoing mail server” then choose the following option and type the details given below and then click on login:

  • ->The SMTP server will be Smtp.mail.yahoo.com

  • ->Choose the security type as SSL

  • ->The suitable port will be 587
      

7) Now you will get verification for sending email so choose yes. Now in the email section enter your email and in the password, section enters your password.

8)  Bravo, your Yahoo account is now all set to be used. Open your email application on your android device to operate your Yahoo mail and hopefully you will face none of the sending email issues with Yahoo.

Follow these steps – go to the Yahoo account sign-in page then look for an option that says I don’t remember my password.
On the next page enter your Yahoo account email id. After entering the email, the next page will appear with three password recovery options:-

1) using alternate email id
2) Using the phone number
3) Using the secret question
