If you’re a wedding planner, you have probably seen the rising trend of a first look on social media. It’s a private moment for the couple Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, where they get to see each other before they walk down the aisle in front of their guests.
It’s a beautiful, intimate photo session that can be done in many ways! From walking up behind your partner, tapping them on the shoulder to a back-to-back reveal.
1. Ashlee & Sam
Ashlee tries to escape the shadow of her sister Jessica’s designer-handbag angst on her MTV reality show, but it’s her husband Sam (who has appeared on Euphoria and Bombshell) who puts her to the test. When she realizes he’s the one who assaulted her, she’s left reeling.
Raven-haired Ashlee makes a splash as a lingerie cam girl in this new thriller from director Jimmy Giannopoulos. She retreats to a remote cabin in the woods where she continues her work for an adult-oriented live-streaming website, but her peace and quiet is shattered by a masked killer hellbent on bringing her night of filming to a grisly end.
Wyatt Oleff stars as Charlie, a man who’s trying to find meaning in his life after the death of his wife, and he says “there’s so much going on with this story and this season that’s going to reveal things about him and his character.” Watch the trailer and check out the episode’s airdate on October 24.
2. Jenneh & Joseph
Joseph is a pop vaudeville show that re-imagines the biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob and 11 brothers. It was the first Broadway musical to feature a modern-day African American cast and is still beloved by children and adults alike. This Broadway actor and his bride shared a moving first look with each other before their wedding ceremony.
Jenneh and Joe wanted their guests to feel special at their European themed wedding. They did this by creating one of a kind stationery like their custom copper sign that doubled as their seating chart during cocktail hour and their leather vow books used during the ceremony. They also had Cucamonga Cakery create their cake with a mix of king and round tables with copper and mirrored rentals from Jake Duke Studio.
In addition to their coordinating pajama sets and rompers, Jenneh gave her bridesmaids and flower girls floral lace robes from BHLDN so they were ready for the big day with style and comfort. They also chose a mismatched bridal party of fog blue and pastel green to show their unique personalities. The result was a beautiful group of ladies who looked stunning in their robes and their matching lace dresses from BHLDN.
3. Jacqueline & Dylan
On two nights in August 2002 and January 2003, Sacramento-area singer/songwriters and musicians gathered at the now-defunct Marilyn’s on 12th and K Streets to pay tribute to Dylan. Highlights from those evenings make up this 13-song set, billed as Jackie Greene/Sal Valentino and Friends. Greene sings lead on four songs; Valentino sings on eight. The remainder of the album’s 13 tracks feature a variety of guest vocalists, as well as backing musicians including pianist Keith Cotton and fine guitarist Jack Petruzzelli.
The show was a joy to behold. The band was in good form, and Osborne’s reinterpretations of Dylan songs were imaginative and special. She has a gorgeous, warm voice and her tambourine work added depth and character to her performances. Her backup group was likewise top notch. Greene, who has a lengthy resume as a musician and performer (his credits include Trigger Hippy, Mother Hips, Phil Lesh & Friends, and more) was at ease in his role here. He stayed mostly to guitar licks and vocals, but his presence made this an enjoyable show to attend.
The only negative was the existence of many more exciting and inventive Dylan covers over the past 40 years that might have pushed this a little higher on any list of interesting and unique Dylan tributes. Overall, however, this is a good collection of classic songs performed by very talented artists.
4. Jacki & Patrick
Patrick Stewart is known for playing straitlaced figures like Jean-Luc Picard and Professor X, but in his new comedy Blunt Talk, the former Star Trek actor gets a bit rowdy. The first trailer for the series shows Stewart as Walter Blunt, an British ex-pat who finds himself riding the tumultuous waves of American cable news. Through his show Blunt Talk, he delivers hard-hitting truths to his audience. Behind the scenes, though, things are a little more complicated.
The half-hour scripted comedy is created by Bored to Death’s Jonathan Ames and executive produced by Seth MacFarlane. It was picked up straight-to-series with a 20-episode order by Starz. The series will air in the summer of 2015.
Starz released a teaser for the series during this weekend’s Black Sails finale. Jacki Weaver, Adrian Scarborough, Dolly Wells and Timm Sharp round out the cast.
Despite the rough exterior, Walter is a good man who’s willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. It shouldn’t be surprising that he sometimes lets his wild side take over and does some questionable things in the name of telling the truth.
On this week’s Relatable, Jacki Daily, a Blaze podcast host and energy production expert, stops by to discuss the energy apocalypse America could be in for. She discusses how President Biden’s overall rhetoric and policies impact gas prices and what’s causing them to spike in the first place. She also discusses the current fentanyl epidemic in America and how it affects everyday people.
5. Claire & Kyle
Claire is a mother of a beautiful little girl named Emma, but she hasn’t always been the best mom. As a teenager she threw herself at boys, alcohol and traveling, anything to distract herself from her painful family life. But as she hurtles towards loss she realizes that if she wants to be happy, it’s time to start looking inward.
Sophia is a wife with a young daughter and an old friend, her former neighbor, Claire. They have hookups in the past but are not seeing each other anymore. One day, Sophia is shocked to find out that Claire is pregnant with her husband’s child. She tells her husband, Kyle, and he is not pleased about the news. The two argue over their relationship. Later, Kyle gets a call from his lawyer and he is told that he has been charged with murder. The lawyer is convinced that the charges are a setup. Sophia is not convinced. She asks a co-worker about Claire and the woman spills the tea. She also tells her about a hot lawyer who believes Sophia’s story.
Man Seeking Woman has already had two girlfriends for Josh Greenberg, and Claire is the third. The blonde isn’t quite what he needs, however. She’s a bit of a slut, and he feels uncomfortable around her. Nevertheless, the pair go on a date to find out his lie detector results.
Full Circle is a six-episode limited series written and directed by Steven Soderbergh. The drama stars Claire Danes and Timothy Olyphant as a wealthy family whose son goes missing. The cast is rounded out by Zazie Beetz, Dennis Quaid, Jharrel Jerome, Jim Gaffigan and CCH Pounder.
