WPDRF Observed World Water Day
New Delhi, March 22, 2023 – World Water Day is observed annually on March 22nd to raise awareness about the importance of freshwater and advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. On this occasion, the World Peace Development and Research Foundation (WPDRF) and its Global President, Sandeep Marwah, joined in the global effort to create awareness about water conservation.
In his message, Sandeep Marwah highlighted the vital role of water in sustaining life on our planet and emphasized the need for conservation and management of water resources. He urged people to take individual responsibility for water conservation and to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
Marwah, also patron to IFUNA-Indian Federation of United Nations Associations reminded the need for innovation and technology to be leveraged in the conservation and management of water resources. He called for increased investments in research and development to find innovative solutions to the challenges faced by our planet in the water sector.
Marwah’s message was part of a larger effort by the WPDRF to raise awareness about sustainable development and the need for peaceful coexistence among nations. The organization has been at the forefront of promoting sustainable development and peace-building initiatives around the world, and Marwah’s message on World Water Day was a reflection of this commitment.
