Sandeep Marwah Visited Doha to Study Tourism in Qatar
Doha: Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media and Arts recently visited Doha, Qatar to study the tourism of the country especially after the completion of grand show of FIFA.
With one of the world’s lowest crime rates, Qatar is a refreshingly safe corner of the Middle East to navigate as tourist, including solo female travellers. With security cameras covering just about every inch of the country, even petty theft is rare.
Diversified tourism offerings across 6 areas: coastal and desert tourism, cultural tourism, business events, sports tourism, urban and family entertainment, and cruise tourism.
The top places include Souq Waqif, National Museum of Qatar, Katara Cultural Village, Museum of Islamic Art, Qatar National Library, Doha Corniche, City Center Mall, Place Vendome Mall , Oxygen Park and hundreds of other venues.
“I am pleased and impressed by the hospitality by the people of Qatar during my visit to Doha. My five days trip has taught me a lot. The beautiful constructions of most of the magnificent buildings is also an attraction after FIFA.I will visit here again. A trip from AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism can also be planned in the coming days,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah addressing to press at Hotel Waldorf Astoria, Lusail at Doha.
Dr Sandeep Marwah also met Akbar Al Baker Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive and learned more about the rising tourism in Qatar. International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry will create Indo Qatar Film & Cultural Forum to develop and promote relations between the two countries soon, informed Marwah.
