Versatile troubadour from the city of Oslo:
Troubadour for all types of events:
A professional troubadour who for many years has had the great pleasure of traveling the country to play and entertain for festive people. Provides musical entertainment at all types of events; company parties, weddings, birthday parties, Christmas parties, stag parties, après-ski, etc., or simply playing up to a party at the local pub.
Flexible entertainment:
As a rule, my show does not follow a fixed programme, we look at the atmosphere and the audience’s wishes along the way. I serve that from calm background music, as at a quiet dinner party, playing up to dancing with swing rhythms, or doing energetic rock’n’roll, when the time has come to let loose on the dance floor. The golden industry standard is to deliver 3 x 45 min live shows.
High party factor:
In my repertoire you will find several hundred well-known songs, in English and Norwegian, within the genres of country, rock, pop, blues and shows. Wish songs are also allowed and much of the fun is of course finding the audience’s favorite artists. A high sing-along and party factor is promised!
Brings all necessary equipment for the show:
The troubadour brings all the necessary equipment, both sound and light. Setup is quick and discreet, and the troubadour does not need a sound check. Has also become “wireless” in recent years. This means that I can move freely in the ballroom and among the audience. Yes empty. join the dance floor. And this creates a wonderfully playful and personal atmosphere at the show.
Troubadour with band ***FESTLØVENEN*** 🦁🦁🦁:
If a larger and fuller feature is required. The troubadour also performs as the trio ***FESTLØVENE*** . With him he has musicians with many years of careers from live and studio. Have been able to choose musicians from the top shelves.
Repertoire:
The troubadour serves something from every genre. But mainly it goes into country, rock and popular music. Here there is a wide range in intensity and pace. But most importantly; Joar is a troubadour who likes to find the audience’s favourites. And he plays the music that engages from experience, either on the dance floor or for sing-alongs. You can’t get a better receipt for your work than a good response from the audience. After many years on the road, we have also learned that the Norwegian public is also very fond of Norwegian music. See excerpts from my repertoire here;
Can be used for everything — good vocals:
For several years, in addition to being a party troubadour, I have also done assignments as a soloist in church. This both for weddings and funerals. It is particularly when the client wants popular music, performed with singing and guitar, that I am asked to perform as a soloist. Some performances are best on 12-string guitar, some on classical, others on electric or regular 6-string. The creative and artistic process that comes with it appeals particularly to the musician in me.
Music for a company party — all-singing show:
Simple is sometimes the best. We set up the singing system, put on wireless microphones. Ask the audience what they want to hear, and the party and the show are on. Troubadour for company parties and events.
Blue tour and company tour with live music:
I have been lucky enough to take part in countless trips on the lake with various companies. The recipe for providing music and entertainment is the same for other events. First, we will talk and eat fresh prawns or tapas. Live music as a background helps to create that little extra that makes the guests relax and enjoy themselves. Light entertainment and mood music is served while enjoying a glass of bubbly. Then the music gradually takes over, and the people sing along.
Troubadour for a Christmas party — mood music:
At the Christmas table, it is important that the show is inclusive and versatile. The troubadour also offers atmospheric Christmas music as a background for the right occasion. Here, the only limits are the imagination.
Troubadour for kick-off:
Sometimes it is desirable to have something extra in connection with the launch of a new department, new premises, new products, customers or partners. The troubadour contributes to an unforgettable evening that plays on themes, image and other creative ideas
Mini-quizzes:
Mini quiz is a slightly more informal version of quiz. Where the tasks are served more loosely throughout the evening and as part of the all-singing show. Here, the participants or guests do not have to devote their full attention, but engage sporadically throughout the evening. We get to experience the best of both worlds.
musikk til bryllup — flexible troubadour and wedding songs:
A troubadour usually plays a 45-minute live set, followed by a 15-minute break. This general rule can be good to have as a guideline when you plan the evening in terms of performing live music.
A wedding party rarely follows the form to the letter. Therefore, I usually offer to deliver 3 x 45 minutes over a 4-hour period, so that there is plenty of time for other elements and also for the delays that may occur. had to accrue during the evening.
Troubadour with varied music and something for every age group:
After many years as a troubadour, weddings have become a personal favourite. It is always exciting to entertain and try to engage a mixed and diverse audience. One lesson I have learned is the importance of always reading the mood, communicating with the audience and adapting the song material on request.
At the start of the evening, the guests are usually a bit reserved and shy. But when the shirt gets a little warmer and the dancing lions arrive on the floor, it’s usually swing that applies. Then we are fast on rock’n roll, boogie etc.
Repertoire troubadour / wedding songs:
My experience is that a Norwegian audience wants a lot of Norwegian music, preferably for sing-alongs and atmospheric hits.
Sometimes we are lucky enough to deal with die-hard country fans. Then we can tom. get to see line dancing, preferably to the tunes of Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Toby Kieth etc. Some small party games can also be offered on the right occasion.
