BriansClub Has Been Hacked
BriansClub is an underground carder website, a site that sells stolen credit card information. BriansClub is one of the largest black market sites on the Internet. The site traffics in stolen credit and debit card data, which is sold to cybercriminals who use it to commit online fraud.
The website is a repository of stolen payment card details, and is operated by a group of hackers. It was reported that the website had been hacked earlier this year. However, the attacker has not yet been identified. Until recently, the site was run by a security researcher, named Brian Krebs. He has since shared the hack with multiple sources, including high-level executives at prominent UK banks.
According to security intelligence firm Flashpoint, BriansClub has a collection of about $414 million worth of stolen credit cards for sale. This includes 26 million credit card records and another 4.9 million debit card records. Of these, the company estimates that nearly nine million of the credit cards were stolen.
The company has a reputation for selling stolen credit card information, but a recent report revealed that the company was hacked. A txt file, which had been sent to a reporter by an unknown source, contained the entire database of cards for sale on the site.
According to the report, the file included all the cards currently on the site, plus an inventory of stolen cards. Aside from that, the database contains details that have been stolen from brick-and-mortar retailers over the last four years. These include card numbers, payment information, and even PINs.
Brians club is a black market site that specializes in reselling stolen credit and debit card information. The data is encoded onto magnetic strips that can be used to produce fake payment cards. In addition, the site offers free gifts to its customers, including lottery tickets. There is also a loan system that allows users to make purchases and get discounts. Users can change their credit card PINs or make larger transactions. They can also earn a percentage of each transaction, which is estimated to be around $500.
As of October, the site had uploaded more than eight million records. Most of the information in the files are dumps. Dumps are encoded with zeros and ones, making them suitable for purchasing valuables and making counterfeit cards. Another source claimed that the files contain a complete database of all cards for sale on the site.
Gemini Advisory, which tracks the underground market of stolen card data, believes the company’s inventory may be at least 87 million cards. That means that the company is earning about $126 million a year in Bitcoin.
It is unclear who hacked the briansclub.cm site, or why they did it. However, the website has been updated with new dumps almost daily. Although the source has not been identified, it is possible that it is a member of the Dark Web community.
BriansClub does not disclose how they earn their revenue, but they do offer some free gifts for users who have valid accounts. Customers who have registered an account can modify their credit card PINs, make purchases on the site, and bid on unusual bins. Additionally, they have a fully automated loan system that can allow users to approve larger transactions.
