FUNGICROS CREAM contains Amorolfine which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical Anti-fungals. It is used in the treatment of fungal infections of the skin such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis and tinea manuum. It is also used for treating cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor.

A fungal infection also called mycosis caused by a fungus. Some fungal infections occur when an invading fungus takes over an area of the body and is too much for the immune system to handle. The symptoms of a fungal infection will depend on the type, but common symptoms include the following skin changes, including cracking or peeling skin and itching.

USES OF FUNGICROS CREAM

It is used to treat fungal infections such as:

Tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, tinea manuum

Cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor

HOW FUNGICROS CREAM WORKS

FUNGICROS CREAM works against the fungi by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Therefore, leading to alternation in fungal cell membrane permeability and disruption of key fungal metabolic processes, causing cell death.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply FUNGICROS CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands with soap and water before and after using FUNGICROS CREAM.

 

Apply a thin layer of this medicine on the affected area and rub it gently into the skin. Avoid applying this medicine to the mouth and nostrils. Your doctor will give the right dose depends on your age, body weight and severity of the infection
