The Arabic word sawab means “right,” which is the opposite of “wrong.” When we call it a good deed for the world, we call it a “Sawab.” When we do a good deed for Allah Almighty, we call it a “Thawab.” But one word can be said in many different ways, like Thawab, Savab, Sawab, Sauap, and sevap. The word “Thawab” is used to describe a large area where people follow Islam. It is called “Sawab” or “Savab” in Pakistan and India. In Kazakh culture, it is pronounced “suaup.” In Iran, they call it “Savab.” In parts of Arab countries, it is called Thawab. In Turkey, it is changed to sevap.
