The winner of the Pan American Games gold medal in Santiago 2023 will be eligible for a seat in Paris 2024 for the Americas.
The berth for the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games or the ISA 2023 World Surfing Games will be given to the next-best surfer in the continent and event in question if a National Olympic Committee surpasses the number of athletes permitted for the Paris 2024 dispute.

The top five competitors at the ISA World Surfing Games in 2024 will be guaranteed a spot in Paris 2024.
The slot for the ISA 2023 World Surfing Games or the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 will be given to the next-best surfer in the continent and event in question if a National Olympic Committee exceeds the number of athletes permitted for the Paris 2024 conflict.
One quota berth available for the 2024 ISA World Surfing Games (per National Olympic Committee team). One berth at Paris 2024 will be awarded to the National Olympic Committee that finished first in the men’s competition at the ISA World Surfing Games in 2024.

The team from the National Olympic Committee that placed second best at the 2022 ISA World Surfing Games will be eligible for a position at Paris 2024 in the event that a National Olympic Committee wins the right to a third place at Paris 2024 as a result of the 2024 ISA World Surfing Games team result.
One quota position among the universality places
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) extends an invitation to all National Olympic Committees that are interested in sending surfers to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
